One of many thousands of village kids in Northern region of ghana with easily treatable skin diseases. One of our bases in Kumbungu will provide and store basic medicines which would help local nurses to treat more children.
A first attempt at a bore hole in the remote North Ghana village of Singha. When the borehole failed, monies gained from fund raising helped to have it re-dug and provided the village with a supply of clean water preventing many instances of parasitic diseases from drinking the river water.
School Unifroms in Ghana cost as little to us as £2.00, yet without one children are unable to attend school. Money raised by donations to the And Albert Foundation has provided hundreds of children in Northern Ghana with Uniforms and the chance of an education.
Guaranteed Principle : The Foundation works on the principle of ALL donated monies going directly to help the village projects amongst the very poorest and most vulnerable people. There is nothing deducted for administrative expenses. Trading Roots sales, both wholesale and retail, allow sufficient profit to cover all Foundation expenses and also return a further significant percentage back to the grass-roots development projects. This model works in practice - you are welcome to come and look!
